Shaft joints

Shaft joints consist of a joint centre piece and two hub bodies. They are connected to each other by link plates. The bearing for the joint heads is either a slide bearing or a needle bearing. Both versions are characterised by their high level of efficiency, combined with quiet and smooth running with low friction.

Properties:

  • Suitable for applications in mechanical engineering
  • Precision single joints according to DIN 808
  • Precision double shaft joints according to DIN 808
  • Designs with slide bearing or needle bearing

Please refer to the respective data sheet for more detailed properties of the individual shaft joints.

Shaft joint with slide bearing G/GD

The shaft joint with slide bearing G/GD consists of a joint centre piece and two hub bodies, which are connected to each other by link pieces. Type G is a precision single shaft joint with slide bearing, while type GD is a precision double shaft joint with slide bearing. Both versions have a maximum speed of 1,000 rpm and a maximum articulation angle of 45° per joint. Shaft joints with slide bearing G/GD are available with finished bore H7 or, on request, with keyway, square and hexagonal bore.
