With the new BRECOroll roller belt, friction in material transport systems can be minimized. Thanks to integrated rollers in the teeth of this polyurethane timing belt, this product is ideally suited for material and transport technology. Frequently, timing belts used for material transport are quite long and are guided by means of a lateral support rail that absorbs the weight forces of belts and transported workpieces. The resulting friction has to be overcome by the use of drive power and generates heat as an undesirable by-product, which not only lowers the strength of the belt but also reduces its service life. The new BRECOroll is characterized by rollers in the belt teeth, which replace the resulting sliding friction with rolling friction. Thus, both the drive power and the self-heat can be reduced and the belt service life increased.
The BRECOroll requires a belt tooth with 20mm pitch, has a T-profile and is only available in pitch T20 in 100mm width.

BRECOroll is a special transport timing belt with integrated rollers in the teeth. As a result, the sliding friction between the belt and the guide rail in the transport system is significantly reduced and converted into rolling friction, which enables more energy-efficient and low-wear operation.
Compared to classic transport timing belts with sliding guides, BRECOroll significantly reduces friction on the guide rail thanks to integrated rollers in the belt. This can reduce energy requirements, heat generation and mechanical stress in the system, which can have a positive effect on operation and maintenance intervals.
BRECOroll is used in conveyor and drive systems where there are long conveyor distances, high friction loads or continuous continuous operation. Typical applications are conveyor technology, intralogistics and automated material flow and transport systems.
The integrated rollers in the BRECOroll significantly reduce the sliding friction on the guide rail in the transport timing belt system and convert it into rolling friction. This can reduce the required drive effort. At the same time, less frictional heat is generated, which can reduce the thermal stress on the belt and surrounding components.
BRECOroll is designed with a T-profile and a 20 mm tooth pitch and is available in a standard width of 100 mm. This defined design enables easy integration into suitable conveyor and transport systems.
Due to the reduced friction between the belt and the guide rail as well as the lower heat generation, mechanical and thermal loads in the system can be reduced. This can contribute to less wear and tear on transport timing belts and system components.
Classic transport timing belts work with lateral sliding guidance via support rails. BRECOroll uses integrated rollers in the belt teeth, whereby the movement on the guide rail is mainly changed from sliding to rolling contact and friction losses can be reduced.
