As a hybrid profile in the field of rubber timing belts, the CTD profile (Conti Torque Drive) combines the properties of HTD and STD profiles and unites an arc-shaped entry geometry with raised teeth for a balanced ratio of power transmission and running characteristics.

CONTI® SYNCHROFORCE CTD timing belts are designed for dynamic, high-performance drives. Depending on the requirements, the following versions are available: Conti® Synchroforce Advance (up to 50 m/s), Conti® Synchroforce Advance Pro (high torques at low speeds up to 20 m/s), CARBON (shock loads and extreme conditions), EXTREME (up to 60 m/s2 acceleration).

Endless manufactured rubber timing belts with a CTD profile are used in demanding applications and ensure reliable power transmission throughout the entire drive system. Combined with suitable timing belt pulleys, precise and efficient power transmission is achieved.
