The DSTD Profile (Double Super Torque Drive) is the double-toothed version of the STD profile for rubber timing belts. The arc-shaped tooth geometry ensures consistent tooth engagement and enables synchronous power transmission on both toothed sections. This makes the DSTD profile particularly suitable for drive systems with opposing motion sequences and precise synchronization requirements.
Double-toothed rubber timing belts with the DSTD profile are primarily used in the lower and medium power ranges. For higher power requirements, the Conti® Synchroforce Advance Pro and Conti® Synchroforce Advance versions are available, featuring high tooth deformation resistance and reliable length stability.
The CONTI® SYNCHROTWIN is made of synthetic rubber with a glass cord tensile member and is ozone-resistant, conditionally age-resistant, and maintenance-free. Precisely synchronous movements can be achieved with suitable STD timing belt pulleys.
