Endless Standard

Endless rubber timing belts produced for standard ranges are made of polychloroprene or polychloroprene compounds. Thanks to their high flexibility, these rubber timing belts can also be used with large transmission ratios, high belt speeds or small pulley diameters. Resistance to deformation and temperature resistance in slow to fast running drives without specific impact loads – the fields of application of these endless standard rubber timing belts are many and varied.

Properties:

  • Precise transmission of rotational movements
  • Constant circumferential speed
  • High performance capability
  • High transmission ratio
  • Compact space requirement
  • Temperature-resistant from maximum -30° C to +100° C
  • Conditional resistance to oil
  • Low-noise running
  • High efficiency

Please refer to the respective data sheet for more detailed properties of the individual timing belts.

HTD

Endless standard rubber timing belts are available with HTD (High Torque Drive) profile. This profile is characterised by a special tooth height and curvilinear tooth geometry and provides especially good guarantee against teeth ratcheting. The HTD profile is outstanding for the transmission of high torques.

CONTI SYNCHROBELT®

CONTI SYNCHROBELT® belts are suitable for use in the low to medium power range. The belt backing and teeth are made of polychloroprene, the tension member is made of glass fibre cord, the cords of which are pairs of counter-twisted glass fibres. CONTI SYNCHROBELT® belts are classified by DIN ISO 5296 and are resistant to weathering, suitable for use in tropical climates and resistant to ozone.

Optibelt OMEGA

Optibelt OMEGA timing belts were developed for synchronous power and positioning drives. Their low coefficient of friction ensures a low operating temperature and reduced noise levels. The tension member consists of pairs of counter-twisted glass fibre tension cords, which specifically provide very good bending properties. These rubber timing belts stand out in particular on account of their maximum precision and lack of maintenance.

The CONTI SYNCHROBELT® can be used for the lower and middle performance range. Elastomer materials based on polychloroprene form the teeth and the back of the belt. A special manufacturing process ensures excellent adhesion to the glass cord tension cord and the reinforcement fabric. To reduce friction, we use an abrasion-resistant polyamide fabric.
