Open-ended (open lengths)

These PU ribbed belts are manufactured from polyurethane as open lengths. They are primarily used in the food industry both for machine drives and for the transport of products.

Properties:

  • Low elongation for critical applications and larger centre distances

Open-ended PU ribbed belts with a PJ2 profile have the following dimensions: profile distance 2.34 mm, upper belt width 4.8 mm, belt height 4 mm. They are used to transport products and in roller conveyors.

BEHAbelt PU 85 A PLUS, ultramarine blue

The BEHAbelt® PU ribbed belt PU 85 A PLUS ultramarine blue is made of a patented “PLUS” material mixture and impresses with its low stretch. This polyurethane ribbed belt is used with critical applications and large centre distances.

It has following approximate coefficients of friction μ: Steel 0.60, PE 0.35, HDPE 0.30. The minimum pulley diameter for this BEHAbelt® polyurethane ribbed belt PU 85 A PLUS in blue is 40 mm.
