Endless welded

Finished open lengths are welded together to produce endless belts of any length. Half of the tension members always assume part of the load in the join area. The use of endless welded polyurethane timing belts is preferred in conveying technology to handle large centre distances.

Continuously welded timing belts can be supplied without any restriction governing length. However, the minimum length of the various belt profiles must be taken into consideration. Timing belts are coated or manufactured with flights for special requirements in transportation.

 

The timing belts are offered in a range of high-performance profiles.

AT

The AT profile is a further development of the standard T profile and, in particular, provides higher tooth shear strength resulting from the larger tooth volume and stronger tension members.

PU timing belts with an AT profile feature, among other things, a more favourable tooth mesh, improved performance compared to the T profile and more precise transmission of movement in conjunction with synchronous pulleys.

Endless welded BRECO® V timing belts can be supplied without any limitation in terms of length. BRECO® V timing belts are coated or manufactured with flights for special transportation requirements.

ATN

The ATN profile is designed for use in transport engineering. An exchangeable profile-fastening system in the belt tooth means that the individual profilescan be quickly fitted and simple replaced, ensuring that the right profile can be used for all transport tasks.

The ATN profile offers a wide range of applications that cannot be achieved with other fastening methods. The same timing belt can therefore be used to transport different goods in a single transport system.

This BRECO® ATN polyurethane timing belt is available as an endless welded timing belt.

T

The T profile is the classic of timing belt profiles. Classified according to DIN 7721, trapezoidal shaped, the timing belt with a T profile is suitable for standard drive applications and high bending stresses.

The welded PU open lengths can be joined to produce BRECO® V timing belts of any required length. Half of the tension members assume part of the load in the join area. Endless welded BRECO® timing belts are preferred in conveyor systems to handle large centre distances.

 

DR version – with reinforced belt backing

DL version – the standard version is double toothed; the compound polyurethane and high-strength steel cord tension member structure can be fully loaded on both sides.

Imperial

Polyurethane timing belts with imperial pitches are classified according to DIN/ISO 5296. These PU timing belts are suitable for use in imperial systems.

The use of welded open lengths enables BRECO® timing belts of any length to be produced. Half of the number of tension members assume part of the load in the joint area. Endless welded BRECO® V timing belts  are preferred in conveyor systems, as they can be used to handle any size of centre distances.

 

The following imperial sizes are available: XL = 5.000 mm

L = 9.000 mm

H = 12.000 mm

XH = 22.000 mm

Self-tracking timing belts

Further development of the AT profile resulted in the BAT profile with reduced running noise. Apart from reduced running noise, this profile also boasts a larger tooth flank and is self-tracking in the preferred running direction. This polyurethane timing belt is primarily used where there are specific requirements relating to running noise and transmission accuracy.

BRECO® V-belts, in welded open lengths, can be joined to produce timing belts of any length, with half of the tension members assuming part of the load in the join area. Continuously welded BRECO® timing belts are preferred in conveyor systems to handle narrower installation widths.

Timing belts made with renewable raw materials

BRECOgreen / BRECOFLEXgreen

This name stands for a range of timing belts that will not only benefit the customers who use them but also do their bit to help preserve the planet in general. With the BRECOgreen and BRECOFLEXgreen ranges of timing belts, we are the first belt manufacturer to take a step beyond merely creating another product. We have used the word “green” in the names of these products to highlight the optimised use of materials, with renewable materials making up 37%.

At BRECO, it is particularly important to us that these materials are not taken from the human food chain. Since the load-bearing capacity and service life of BRECOgreen/BRECOFLEXgreen belts match those of belts manufactured from oilbased thermoplastic polyurethane, we can absolutely guarantee their fulloperational reliability.

Long-term market studies have shown that even small steps in the right direction are important. They encourage others to follow suit and help to develop new materials and techniques that can be transferred to other areas. We continue to invest all our energy in innovative technology so that we can help to preserve and improve the environment, climate and living conditions.

The “green” material is available for all BRECO and BRECOFLEX types, regardless of their pitch and profile. Please specify the material TPUEC1 in the request.
