Guide rails can be used as a constructive measure when using a polyurethane timing belt as a conveyor belt to deflect the weight of the goods being conveyed from the belt. Guide rails with and without side guide channels are available depending on the model.
The guide rails are held in stock as a standard range, with a preferred delivery length of 2,000 mm, to match the width of the timing belt. The guide rails are made of low-pressure polyethylene, which is especially low-friction and wear-resistant.
Without guide channel
Guide rails for polyurethane timing belts without guide channel have universal applications. They can be used for all types of timing belts and are primarily selected when there are no large lateral forces exerted on the conveyor belt.
