Shock absorbers

Shock absorbers are compact, maintenance-free, hydraulic mechanical elements, which can be quickly and simply integrated into any construction. There are miniature shock absorbers, which are used to reduce the load on handling equipment, rotary and pivoting drives, linear cylinders and many other industrial applications. By contrast, industrial shock absorbers decelerate the moving loads evenly over the full stroke, resulting in the lowest braking force and shortest braking time.

Properties:

  • Safe and reliable production
  • Low operating costs
  • Quiet and economical machines
  • Minimal mechanical loads
  • Best possible machine protection
  • State-of-the-art damping technology
  • Suitable for virtually universal use

Please refer to the respective data sheet for more detailed properties of the individual shock absorbers.

MC5 to MC75

ACE miniature shock absorbers are hydraulic mechanical elements, which are maintenance-free and ready-to-fit. Series MC5 to 75 are characterised by their extremely short overall length and minimal restoring forces.

Thanks to their temperature-stable oil filling and integrated positive stop, these shock absorbers are perfectly suited for use in small handling modules, linear slides or swivelling units. The different degrees of hardness of ACE miniature shock absorbers MC5 to 75 cover an effective mass range of from 0.3 kg to 72 kg.

MC150 to MC600

ACE miniature shock absorbers are hydraulic mechanical elements, which are maintenance-free and ready-to-fit. Series MC150 to 600 is characterised by a hermetically sealed rolling diaphragm, which is suitable for an exceptionally long service life of up to 25 million strokes. All dampers in this series can be directly installed as end stop dampers in hydraulic cylinders up to approx. 7 bar.

The use of a side load adapter permits impact angles of up to 25°. The incremental degrees of hardness of ACE miniature shock absorbers MC15 to 600 cover an effective mass range of from 0.9 kg to 4,536 kg.

SC190 to 925

ACE miniature shock absorbers are hydraulic mechanical elements, which are maintenancefree and ready-to-fit. Series SC190 to 925 is designed in such a way that the shock absorbers can be set up either with a linear or progressive braking curve.

Their soft damping character us achieved, thanks to the special long strokes, which produce only minimal reaction forces. The use of a side load adapter permits impact angles of up to 25°. The overlapping degrees of hardness of ACE miniature shock absorbers SC190 to 925 cover an effective mass range from below 1.0 kg to over 2,000 kg.

SC²25 to 650

ACE miniature shock absorbers are hydraulic mechanical elements, which are maintenance-free and ready-to-fit. Series SC²25 to 650 has up to three times higher energy absorption than the conventional SC series with a similar model size. All the shock absorbers in this series feature piston tube technology with a dynamic diaphragm seal and can be directly installed as end position dampers in pneumatic cylinders at 5 to 7 bar.

The optional use of a side load adapter permits impact angles of up to 25°. The overlapping degrees of hardness of ACE miniature shock absorbers SC²25 to 650 cover an effective mass range from 1.0 kg to over 6,350 kg.
